About

About Me

I am a math major at the University of California San Diego. Some courses that I have taken in the past include Number Theory, Real Analysis, Abstract Algebra, and various courses in Logic. Throughout all of the upper division math courses that I have taken, I have become deeply intrigued by the power of mathematical proofs. They are able to produce indisputable findings and have therefore become essential to providing credibility to mathematical statements. Furthermore, I believe that proofs expose the beauty contained within the orderliness and stability of math. In a world of instability, the need to make sense of the world has become increasingly more relevant. It is for this reason that understanding math is essential.

Aside from attending to coursework, during the past two years I have worked as a math tutor, attending to elementary through high school students. Through my tutoring experiences, I have learned to effectively communicate mathematical principles to others who do not necessarily have strong backgrounds in math. Being able to convey knowledge to others is essential when mathematicians are trying to justify their claims to other people through their proof writing. I believe that my tutoring experience has allowed me to be able to effectively communicate math, therefore enhancing my proof writing abilities.

Thank you again for visiting my website. I hope that you will be able to find this website useful and educational, and further your understanding of mathematical principles.
